Bluetooth

Bluetooth è una tecnologia di comunicazione wireless rivoluzionaria che consente di stabilire una connessione comoda e sicura con un'ampia gamma di gadget, dispositivi e servizi. Ideata da Ericsson nel 1994, aveva in origine lo scopo di sostituire i cavi dati RS-232. Questa tecnologia opera sulla banda ISM (industriale, scientifica e medicale) non concessa in licenza globale da 2,4 a 2,485 GHz e utilizza un'ampia gamma di segnali full-duplex di interscambio di frequenza a una velocità standard di 1600 hop al secondo.

Bluetooth si utilizza con molti prodotti e applicazioni, quali telefoni, laptop e televisori, oltre che in applicazioni industriali. Offre vantaggi chiari ed evidenti, come i trasferimenti ad alta velocità che consentono agli utenti di condividere dati, audio, video e immagini. Il Bluetooth è un collegamento wireless che impiega le frequenze radio e che opera solo all'interno della rete personale (PAN) di un utente.
